A Little Bit About Me
My name is Amr Ali, and I’m from Cairo, Egypt.
I live at the 5th Settlement, New Cairo.
My favorite book is surely Quran, however, my favorite novel is The Miserables. I like to read and research about comparative religion, psychology, and history.
My favorite movies are Vanilla Sky, Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, The Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Aladdin, The Last Unicorn, Pride and Prejudice, A Walk To Remember, Wall-E, Finding Nemo, The Lion King, Fight Club, The God Father, The Dark Knight, Star Wars, The Matrix, The Lord of The Rings, and The Hunger Games. I also like documentary movies. My favorite documentary movie is Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things.
I haven’t been listening to music since 2009, however, I listen to Acappella tracks for songs, new, 90’s, and oldies. I have a large library of acappella songs that I downloaded online. As for Arabic, I love to listen to نصر الدين طوبار. Not many know about him but he’s a favorite to me. My favorite supplications for him are الله كان، يا عيد أشرق، and رباه.
My life goals are finding peace, reviving the Ummah, and reaching out to paradise.
I like writing and traveling. I write my diaries, stories about my travels, and songs.
I like fashion and clothing. I value high quality products, but I value authenticity even more. I would rather wear original than classy. My favorite brands are Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, United Colors of Benetton, and H&M. I love Tommy Hilfiger’s and Lacoste’s lifestyle, Ralph Lauren’s elegance, United Colors of Benetton’s message, and H&M’s sustainability.
I graduated from The English School in Cairo, and studied Bachelor of Dentistry at ASU. I also studied some digital marketing courses, I work as a social media specialist for a Canadian company as a side job. It’s a very financially rewarding job from home so it may replace my career as a dentist in the future.
I’m religious and very practicing, alhamduelAllah.
My father is an orthopedic surgeon, my mother was working but now is a housewife. My sister is a lecturer of physical medicine, and my brother is also an orthopedic surgeon.
I used to have birds when I was a kid. I never had cats or dogs, but I love them. However I don’t accept raising dogs at home, only at farms.
I believe in Minimalism. I believe it conforms a lot with Islam. I also believe in typology. I’m an introvert. I’m told that my MBTI is INFJ, I think I am. I read that the complementary couple should be an INFJ or an ENTP. However, it’s not a must for me. I will go fine with anyone who have some typology knowledge.
